REELS
BIO
I’m a London-based Visual Effects Supervisor with a broad generalist background and over 25 years of experience in CGI and visual effects, spanning episodic television, film and high-end commercials. I worked primarily in commercials until 2016, building a strong foundation across the creative, technical and production sides of fast-paced, high-quality visual storytelling.
I then joined Jellyfish Pictures as a VFX Supervisor, leading high-calibre work on productions including The Rig (Amazon), The Nevers (HBO) and Nautilus (Disney), for which Jellyfish delivered more than 950 shots ahead of its 2024 release. I worked alongside clients from the initial pitch through to final delivery, often finding creative solutions that kept projects within budget without compromising their aesthetic intent.
I have worked as an on-set VFX Supervisor on Foundation (Apple TV), Halo (Showtime), Ponies (Peacock) and Nike’s Fear campaign for Wieden and Kennedy. I’ve also established an in-house VFX studio at Amos Pictures using Escape Technology’s Sherpa remote pipeline, managing a team of seven artists and working closely with clients to realise their creative vision within budget.
My work with Flawless AI has expanded this experience into hybrid VFX and AI workflows, combining established visual effects craft with emerging machine-learning tools. I approach AI as part of a controlled, artist-led pipeline, using it alongside traditional techniques to increase creative flexibility and efficiency while preserving performance, photographic integrity and directorial intent. I am continuing to develop this approach across future projects, exploring how hybrid workflows can support ambitious visual storytelling without compromising the quality or authenticity of the final image.
Drawing on a generalist understanding of the entire VFX process, extensive on-set experience and a collaborative approach to working with directors and DOPs, I bring both a camera-conscious and an animator’s perspective to CGI. This allows me to move comfortably between creative, technical and practical production considerations, balancing innovation with the grounded realism of live-action cinematography. Known for precision, creative problem-solving and clear communication, I’m committed to pushing creative and technical boundaries in the ever-evolving world of visual effects.

LFX LOG APP
Create organised on-set VFX logs from video-assist stills. Auto-fill camera metadata, work offline, add notes and markup, then export PDF or CSV reports.
VFX Log is a purpose built iPhone app I created for recording accurate visual effects data on-set. Create productions, configure camera and lens presets, log shots and takes, record technical metadata, and attach video assist stills, all in one streamlined workflow.
Using Apple’s on-device iOS image to text technology, VFX Log can read camera metadata from video assist images and use it to autofill fields, reducing manual entry and helping prevent mistakes.
The app requires no Wi-Fi or mobile data, making it suitable for stages, remote locations and secure productions. Completed logs can be exported as clear, professional PDF VFX reports for easy review and handover to post-production.
Designed for VFX supervisors, data wranglers and on-set teams, VFX Log keeps essential shoot information organised from set through to post.
VFX Log is currently available as a public beta through Apple TestFlight.
